Flat braid

Design, Qualification and Production are our offer for success in creating electrical connections.

The flat braids in the INTERNATIONAL WIRE range are designed from assemblies of 0.05 mm (AWG 44) up to 0.25 mm (AWG 30) single wires.

The braids can be flattened or not made with bare copper, tinned, nickeled or silvered copper.

The combination of the braids with the appropriate wire diameter make it possible to design the best technical solution to suit the braid’s operating conditions.

This technical optimization ensures an optimum braid service life, thus limiting replacement or maintenance operations and reducing costs.

The range

– Standardized sections: 2 mm² to 500 mm².
– Wire diameter : 0.05 mm (AWG 44) to 0.25 mm (AWG 30).
– Materials :

  • Bare copper,
  • Tin-plated copper,
  • Silver-plated copper,
  • Nickel-plated copper.

Braids can be insulated by extrusion.

Insulation :
– Black PVC 105°C
– PVC crystal / blue / green
– Halogen-free
